| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle E-Business Suite | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018, Power Design implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its ERP Financial system, deploying HRMS, Financials, Projects and Inventory modules to support core construction and operational workflows. Power Design is a United States construction and real estate firm with approximately 2700 employees, a national headquarters and a distribution center, operating over 160 active projects during the implementation timeframe.
The implementation included Oracle Taleo for recruitment integrated directly into Oracle HRMS, plus extensive customizations and extensions delivered via Oracle APEX. Custom APEX applications were built to process recruited employees into Oracle HRMS, manage new hire queues, run onboarding checklists, store and version employee documents, process employee compensation interfaces to HRMS, handle employee referral program flows into payroll, manage relocation and probation processes, and capture employee feedback and performance reviews.
Integrations were explicit and transaction oriented, including automated employee data processing from Oracle Taleo into Oracle HRMS and into the APEX review queue, onboarding document ingestion from Oracle Taleo into the APEX document management application, and a supplier creation flow that converts employee expense and banking data into employee supplier records. Reporting and analytics were delivered using OBIEE for recruiting dashboards and an HRMS BI Dashboard that supports managerial and executive reporting, including annual steering committee reporting and AI enabled analyses for at risk positions and resignation factor trends.
Operational scope and governance centered on HR, payroll, finance, projects and inventory teams, with the Techno Functional Solution Architect role in place from October 2018 to present providing ongoing application support, extensions and BI reporting. Governance workstream activities included onboarding compliance review workflows, document revision controls, and a new hire processing governance model to ensure HRMS data integrity and auditability.
Oracle E-Business Suite ERP Financial underpinned recruiting to HR workflows and construction sector specific custom applications, while the combined Oracle Taleo, Oracle HRMS, Oracle APEX and OBIEE components delivered unified transaction flows, document compliance, and executive level reporting for talent lifecycle and HR operations.

In 2020, Power Design implemented Sterling Background Check to centralize pre-hire screening under the BackGround Screening category for its U.S. field and office hiring. The deployment supported end-to-end onboarding for new hires across the United States, with bilingual onboarding support for Spanish-speaking employees integrated into the operational process.
Sterling Background Check was used through Sterling ONE to execute standard screening modules including DMV, background, drug, credit, education, and reference checks, aligning with the company pre-hire workflow. The Sterling ONE screening step was submitted as part of Workday onboarding tasks, with background submissions and status tracked inside Workday alongside E-Verify and I-9 completion steps.
Operational integrations extended to the HRIS where employee records were maintained, and to SAP Concur for travel arrangements related to remote hires and relocation logistics. Onboarding coordination included communication with Logistics and IT for asset provisioning, weekly vendor interactions for apparel fulfillment with Verified Label, and relocation hotel and card management with Avenida Suites and accounting.
Governance and process controls emphasized a centralized onboarding orchestration managed by HR, including dual-sign onboarding documents, photo uploads, and vendor cadence for new hire experience. Administrative responsibilities included maintaining accurate HRIS files and ensuring the Sterling Background Check screening steps were embedded into recruiting and onboarding workflows.

| Microsoft | Legacy | Microsoft 365 | Collaboration | Collaboration | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017, Power Design implemented Microsoft 365 as its Collaboration platform. Microsoft 365 was provisioned to standardize email, document sharing, and real-time team collaboration across the organization, supporting core business functions such as project delivery, internal communications, and office productivity.
Configuration focused on core Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online for messaging, SharePoint Online for enterprise content management, OneDrive for Business for user file synchronization, Microsoft Teams for chat and meetings, and the Office productivity suite for authoring and co-authoring. The deployment leveraged document versioning, co-authoring, team channels, and meeting orchestration to align with construction project collaboration workflows, with identity and access managed through Microsoft identity services within the Microsoft 365 tenant to enable single sign-on and role-based access.
Governance emphasized tenant-level administration, role assignments for project and corporate teams, and content lifecycle policies to control document retention and information access across jobsite and office contexts. Rollout and change management centered on enabling teams to adopt document collaboration and real-time communication patterns typical of Collaboration implementations, while operational ownership remained within corporate IT. Microsoft 365 is implemented and visible in the company’s public site configuration.
