Oracle Legacy Oracle NetSuite ERP ERP Financial ERP n/a 2013 2015
In 2013, Precepts completed a two-year, full project lifecycle implementation of Oracle NetSuite ERP. The Oracle NetSuite ERP deployment consolidated accounting, inventory, shipping, point-of-sale, event registration and customer service into a single ERP Financial platform for the 150-employee nonprofit operating in the United States. The implementation configured core financial management capabilities typical of ERP Financial deployments, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and revenue handling, together with inventory management, order and shipping workflows, point-of-sale functionality and event registration modules. Configuration work included chart of accounts redesign, transaction mapping and role based access controls to align nonprofit accounting and program revenue processes. Precepts integrated multiple external systems into Oracle NetSuite ERP, onboarding point-of-sale, event registration and customer service systems and centralizing master data and transactional flows. Integrations followed common patterns for ERP Financial projects using API based and batch data exchange to synchronize inventory, orders and financial transactions, while Oracle NetSuite ERP acted as the system of record for finance and inventory. The two-year engagement ran as a phased rollout with data conversion, user acceptance testing and staged go live waves across functions, and it established program governance for financial controls, change management and ongoing system administration. Project leadership executed the full project lifecycle from requirements through stabilization to operational handoff.
