The deployment supported an IT estate serving roughly 300 users across a home office and 42 remote locations, positioning RealPage Rainmaker LRO to support property and leasing operations within the company.
RealPage Rainmaker LRO was configured to operate alongside Microsoft Server 2008 hosted infrastructure, leveraging Exchange 2007 and Active Directory for authentication and messaging services. Functionally the implementation aligned with Enterprise Asset Management workflows, including lease administration, asset inventory and portfolio reporting, and workflow automation for leasing and revenue management consistent with category capabilities.
The implementation integrated with on premises systems that IT explicitly supported, including Exchange 2007, Active Directory, SharePoint, and a Yardi installation with an SQL backed component, while network connectivity was delivered through Watchguard VPN across 42 remote sites. Peripheral device management and document scanning were included in operational support, with IT managing scanners, multifunction printers and outsourced voice and data contracts as part of the solution footprint.
Operational governance rested with internal IT administration, which logged trouble tickets, managed security and firewall configurations for remote connectivity, and administered email distribution, security groups and shared folders. IT participation also included migration activity from Exchange 2007 to Microsoft Outlook 365 during the broader infrastructure program, ensuring continuity of identity and messaging services for RealPage Rainmaker LRO users.
