In 2013, PRIDE Industries deployed Infor CloudSuite EAM Asset Performance as its Asset Performance Management platform to centralize asset and maintenance data across manufacturing, purchasing, inventory, and supply chain functions. The deployment provisioned a cloud-hosted instance of Infor CloudSuite EAM Asset Performance to provide a consistent operational backbone for asset lifecycle management and visibility for users with and without disabilities.
Configuration emphasized asset management and maintenance workflows, inventory and purchasing visibility, and automation of manual processes to eliminate dual data entry. The implementation used standard Asset Performance Management capabilities to streamline work order processing, surface inventory levels and shipment dates to operational teams, and automate data exchange between functional users.
Architecturally the project used Infor ION as the integration and orchestration layer to connect Infor LN with the cloud-hosted Infor EAM, opening cross-application communication and enabling faster, easier data exchange between departments and users. That integration removed the need for duplicate data entry, ensured data consistency regardless of where records originated, and allowed automated handoffs between ERP and EAM records.
Governance and operational change focused on integrating processes rather than replacing business units, automating previously manual tasks, and improving real-time visibility for decision makers. The organization reported improved internal communication and operational visibility, and John Vaughan, Senior Vice President and CIO at PRIDE Industries, summarized the outcome by noting that implementing communication between Infor LN and Infor EAM sped up processes, improved accuracy, and reduced operational costs.
