In 2014 Prime Electric began accounting related IT projects with a conversion of its accounting system to Viewpoint Vista, positioning Viewpoint Vista as the companywide Construction ERP backbone for financial control. The initial scope centered on finance and project accounting to consolidate transaction processing and reporting for construction project work.
Prime Electric configured Viewpoint Vista to implement core accounting capabilities common to Construction ERP deployments, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management and job costing to capture project level financials. The work emphasized chart of accounts rationalization, job cost rollups and configuration of contract billing and revenue recognition workflows to align construction accounting practices with system controls.
Architecturally the deployment established a centralized Viewpoint Vista instance to act as the single source of record for project financials and accounting transactions, with standard import and export interfaces to capture field costs and labor. Integrations were scoped to consolidate project cost inputs and timesheet feeds into Viewpoint Vista and to enable downstream financial reporting and audit trails within the Construction ERP environment.
Governance and rollout focused on staged conversion, data migration validation, accounting process redesign and targeted end user training for finance and project controls teams. Implementation activities prioritized cutover sequencing to minimize disruption to ongoing project billing and payroll cycles, and established operational ownership for accounting processes inside Viewpoint Vista.

| Legacy | Google Cloud Platform (GCP) | Application Hosting and Computing Services | IaaS | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020, Prime Electric deployed Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to host its public website. The implementation uses Google Cloud Platform (GCP) as the Application Hosting and Computing Services layer for the company website, providing the application hosting and compute foundation for customer facing content.
Architecturally the deployment centers on managed compute for site rendering, object storage for static assets, global load balancing and content delivery capabilities to optimize availability and performance. The configuration also includes edge TLS termination, DNS and integrated logging and monitoring to surface operational telemetry and simplify incident response.
Operationally the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) footprint supports the Prime Electric web application stack, tying front end content, backend application endpoints and centralized telemetry into a single hosting domain. The Application Hosting and Computing Services implementation underpins web content delivery, marketing facing pages and customer engagement workflows through a unified hosting and compute layer.
Governance emphasizes role based access control, separation of staging and production environments and centralized monitoring to manage change and detect incidents. The Google Cloud Platform (GCP) deployment on the Prime Electric website establishes a consistent Application Hosting and Computing Services foundation for ongoing operations and incremental enhancements.
