| HighRadius | Legacy | RadiusOne AR Suite | AR Automation | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020, PrimeSource Building Products deployed RadiusOne AR Suite as part of an AR Automation initiative to centralize and standardize accounts receivable operations. PrimeSource Building Products is a wholesale distributor operating across 36 U.S. locations with service reach into the Caribbean, Canada, Mexico, Central America, and South America, and the deployment specifically encompassed the corporate collections center and distribution center A/R teams totaling 41 FTEs. The implementation objective focused on consolidating fragmented workflows into a centralized operations model to improve managerial visibility and reduce manual aggregation tasks.
RadiusOne AR Suite was configured to deliver discrete functional modules including Collections Cloud and Deductions Cloud, automated dunning and customer correspondence, prioritized worklist-driven collections rules, and straight-through cash application using complete remittance information. The solution incorporated AI-enabled capabilities to auto-identify valid and invalid deductions, auto-extract backup documents such as PoDs and BoLs, and auto-link claims to their corresponding deductions, enabling faster dispute and deduction resolution. Workflow automation also introduced e-workflows for deduction status tracking, approval, and settlement, and standardized reason codes and root cause analysis for deductions reporting.
The implementation integrated RadiusOne AR Suite with PrimeSource’s SAP-driven collections processes and with external document sources including EDI feeds, carrier portals, customer portals, and inbound email channels to automate aggregation of remittance and proof-of-delivery data. Operational coverage spanned corporate collections specialists and regional credit managers, allowing centralized task assignment and segmented collector engagement based on prioritized buckets. A centralized repository of notes and next actions was created to improve accountability across teams that previously operated in silos.
Governance changes included instituting predefined business rules for prioritization, uniform dunning templates to enforce consistent customer correspondence, and customized reporting to restore managerial KPI visibility. Process restructuring emphasized ownership of accounts through a prioritized worklist and role-based visibility in dashboards and reports, replacing manual email outreach and ad hoc dispute handling with standardized, automated workflows. The rollout preserved SAP as the ERP touchpoint for collections while externalizing advanced AR automation to RadiusOne AR Suite to address previous reporting and collaboration constraints.
PrimeSource realized explicit, vendor-reported outcomes as part of the RadiusOne AR Suite deployment, including a 10 day reduction in DSO, 50 percent faster dispute resolution, a 63 percent reduction in team size, and an over 67 percent increase in employee productivity tied to automation that eliminated clerical data aggregation. The deployment also produced improved deduction recovery through AI-driven identification of invalid deductions, and enhanced reporting capabilities that delivered greater insight into collector outreach and recovered dollars.
