In 2015, Prince Retail Group of Companies implemented Manthan Retail Analytics as its enterprise Analytics and BI platform. The deployment was led from the accounting organization, with the Accounting Sr. Manager acting as team lead for the project while the company operated multiple retail, warehousing, logistics, micro financing, leasing and real estate business lines in the Philippines.
The Manthan Retail Analytics implementation delivered standard Analytics and BI capabilities including centralized reporting and operational dashboards, program P&L and management P&L analysis, capex and opex reporting, inventory and fixed asset analytics, and credit and collections reporting. Configuration work focused on financial reporting feeds and merchandising and inventory analytical models to support monthly financial statement preparation and management evaluation workflows.
Operational scope covered the Accounting Department including General Accountants, Management Accountants, Disbursements, Asset Management, Credit and Collection and Document Control, and extended analytics coverage across retail stores, warehousing and logistics functions. Data consolidation combined merchandising, inventory and finance system feeds into Manthan Retail Analytics to enable cross-functional views for accounting and purchasing teams.
Governance and rollout were driven by accounting process owners, who defined reporting cadences, validation controls for monthly close and audit support, and the delivery of program level analytics to senior management to inform decision making. The implementation emphasized centralized analytics governance, standardized P&L and inventory reporting workflows and audit-ready schedules for group level financial oversight.
