In 2019, Quantium implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations across its Finance organization as an ERP Financial deployment to introduce structure around finance workstreams and improve reporting and payroll processes. The engagement centered on bringing disciplined process control to financial operations and creating repeatable workflows for routine finance activities.
The implementation work included updating finance process and procedures documentation and performing user acceptance testing within a sandbox environment for Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations. Within the Finance area, configuration and reporting work targeted payroll reporting and month end reporting, and streamlining manual reporting in the payroll function reduced manual inputs resulting in efficiencies gained in processing time.
Operational coverage extended into ad hoc finance projects where the finance team member served as Quantium's representative on the working group to establish an office in the UK, managed company insurance renewals, and led analysis for the company R and D claim. Reporting deliverables were used in monthly reports to the senior leadership team and the CFO, introducing new insights to senior stakeholders and supporting Finance decision workflows.
Governance and rollout activities emphasized process documentation, sandbox UAT, and embedding new reporting outputs into the existing SLT reporting cadence. The work combined ERP Financial configuration, procedural governance, and targeted reporting automation to reduce manual effort and to formalize finance controls.
