In 2021 Quero Automation Spain implemented Cegid Ekon ERP, deploying an ERP Financial solution to consolidate Operative & Processes, CRM, Projects and Finance onto a single cloud platform. The decision followed a nine month selection process and the implementation was executed in Spain with partner Dragomar, focusing on unifying transactional and project accounting workflows for a distribution business.
Cegid Ekon ERP was configured to centralize finance ledgers, project accounting modules, CRM workflows and inventory handling capabilities, aligning operative processes with financial posting rules and project cost tracking. Configuration work emphasized master data consolidation for product references and standardization of order to cash and procurement flows consistent with ERP Financial functional patterns.
The deployment architecture used a cloud platform model to consolidate operations and inventory handling across the company, enabling a single source of truth for product references and operational transactions. Operational coverage explicitly included distribution operations, sales and project teams, and finance, reflecting cross functional integration rather than point solutions.
Governance and rollout were organized after the selection phase with Dragomar overseeing configuration and cutover in Spain, and internal process consolidation to align CRM, projects and finance on one platform. The project was expected to deliver approximately 20 percent savings in hours and faster handling of over 300,000 product references once the Cegid Ekon ERP system went live.
