The team maintained the database and application stacks for Oracle E-Business Suite, delivered functional enhancements, and managed routine maintenance and patching cycles for finance and supply chain capabilities.
The Applications team also supported IT responsibilities related to an internal HR Workday implementation, including integration work into Rackspace internal enterprise systems, ensuring data flows between Workday and Oracle E-Business Suite financial and procurement processes. Integrations were handled as part of the broader enterprise application ecosystem, with emphasis on transactional and master data synchronization to support downstream finance and inventory workflows.
Governance was organized around the Managed IT Oracle E-Business Suite Applications team, which owned lifecycle activities spanning infrastructure operations, development delivery, and functional support for finance, procurement, and inventory business functions. Operational coverage included legal operations, paralegal teams, and internal IT, with procedures to hand off data sets to external counsel for production and review.
Governance and workflow restructuring included formalized hold issuance and tracking, checklist driven collection instructions to IT, documented guidance for custodial collections and device handling, and reconciliation of external counsel spend through CounselLink driven reporting. The implementation emphasized procedural controls around subpoenas, discovery responses, and quarterly litigation reporting to auditors, embedding repeatable tasks into the Legal Practice Management system to support ongoing litigation and regulatory workflows.
