In 2020 Radienz Living implemented Freightview as part of a targeted Shipping Management initiative to standardize inbound logistics and support growth across its Melville, NY and Pittston, PA operations. The Freightview deployment was one element of a broader TMS program alongside eTMS and Kuebix, with initial configuration focused on inbound international freight management and coordination with North America 3PLs.
The implementation emphasized Shipping Management capabilities typical of a transportation management system, including rate management and rate shopping, carrier tendering and acceptance workflows, shipment visibility and tracking, and operational reporting to support continuous improvement. Freightview was configured to support prioritized inbound freight workflows with purchasing, procurement, suppliers, and manufacturing, enabling operational sequencing of containers and carrier selection to stabilize capacity.
Operational scope included oversight of inbound international lanes from ports such as Shanghai, Ningbo, and Yantian, coordination with 3PL inventory management for raw and finished goods, and supplier prioritization for manufacturing feeds. Governance changes accompanied the technical deployment, with retraining of the logistics function, quarterly cross functional supply chain reviews involving operations, planning, finance and EHS, and closer alignment with S&OP processes to enforce OTIF and delivery priorities.
Outcomes documented alongside the Freightview implementation are explicit and operational. The logistics program reduced lead time targets from 90 to 50 days through container capacity and prioritization plans, improved Walmart OTIF from 45 percent to 96 percent in four months by partnering with S&OP, and achieved a Section 301 customs duty refund of 700000 dollars through classification and exclusions work. Radienz Living Freightview Shipping Management integration into day to day logistics operations supported these inbound and carrier management objectives.
