In 2020, Red Cedar Gathering implemented LLumin READYTrak as part of an Inventory Management deployment to formalize spare parts staging and reservation across its Colorado midstream sites. The rollout was closely tied to LLumin CMMS+ to align inventory control with maintenance execution and to provide a single inventory record for maintenance planners and operations staff.
Configuration focused on inventory and spare parts reservation workflows within LLumin READYTrak, including module usage for parts staging and automated reservation linked to planned and unplanned maintenance. The implementation embedded automated reservation logic and staging rules so that parts were pre-positioned for critical equipment, improving readiness for maintenance interventions and supporting mean time to repair reduction efforts.
Integration architecture connected LLumin CMMS+ with Rockwell PlantPAx so that PlantPAx alerts and process alarms could trigger work order creation and prompt READYTrak to reserve required spares. This integration centralized the flow from plant instrumentation through work order generation to inventory reservation, supporting maintenance and operations functions across multiple Colorado sites.
Governance and process changes formalized automated reservation workflows and maintenance handoffs between operations and the maintenance planner function, enabling parts staging as part of standard work order lifecycle management. Outcomes reported in the case study included staged parts usage to reduce MTTR and plant uptime above 99 percent across the Colorado midstream footprint, reflecting operational reliability gains tied to the LLumin READYTrak Inventory Management implementation.

In 2020, Red Cedar Gathering implemented Cority Environmental Cloud. Cority Environmental Cloud is an Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) application deployed to centralize air emissions reporting and calculation workloads across the company’s midstream operations.
The implementation focused on Cority’s calculation engine and configurable templates to handle high-volume greenhouse gas calculation requirements, including 12-month rolling totals and annual aggregates. Red Cedar Gathering configured a universal engine template so that entering five core data points would drive automated calculations for varied equipment classes, and the platform was customized to account for differing emission factors across sites.
Operationally the solution ingests field data at high frequency, with equipment producing 15-minute interval readings sent to a centralized collection point and Cority uploading processed data daily for compliance review. The deployment covered multiple facilities acquired by the company, operations on both tribal land and privately owned land, and monitoring across more than 1,200 wells and 895 miles of gathering pipeline, supporting air permitting and semi-annual reporting obligations.
Governance and process changes included standardizing reporting formats, creating a single source of truth for emissions calculations, and establishing a repeatable rollout pattern that extended the Cority configuration to additional sites and equipment types such as dehydrators and heaters. The standardized engine template and centralized data model reduced per-facility variation in calculations and improved auditability for inspectors.
As a result of the Cority Environmental Cloud implementation Red Cedar Gathering moved from periodic manual uploads to daily automated processing, reducing the time to produce semi-annual emissions reports from two days to under an hour. The company reports fewer permit violations since the 2012 spike following new tribal requirements, attributed to more frequent data visibility, earlier detection of deviations from permit conditions, and standardized, auditable emissions calculations.
