In 2017 RentPlus implemented Affirm Revolve, a Document Management application, to consolidate its corporate records and operational paperwork. The deployment centralized uploaded documents, forms, and spreadsheet files alongside scanned archival records so that all documents were housed together on a shared secure platform.
Affirm Revolve was configured to support bulk uploads and scanned document ingestion, with document grouping and indexing used to present logical sets of records, for example balance sheets for preceding years stored and viewable together. The solution provided full text search, version control, and an access and review history, enabling users to load, update, and locate documents through indexed metadata and searchable content.
Operationally the implementation covered RentPlus as an organization, supporting finance and records management workflows by providing a company-wide secure repository. Governance was handled through the application level version control and audit history, which recorded who had accessed and reviewed documents and supported controlled updates and review cycles within Affirm Revolve.
