Sage Legacy Sage Intacct ERP Financial ERP n/a 2015 2015
In 2015, Return Path implemented Sage Intacct as its ERP Financial application. The initiative was organized through the companys Business Operations team, which provides development and support services for cloud business systems including Salesforce, Zendesk, Sage Intacct, ADP, Workday, GoodData, Gainsight, and Avalara. Sage Intacct was configured to deliver core ERP Financial capabilities, with emphasis on general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue management, and multi-entity accounting to support consolidated financial close and operational reporting. Configuration work focused on financial controls, chart of accounts design, period close workflows, and revenue accounting functionality aligned with subscription and services billing models. Integrations were established between Sage Intacct and adjacent systems to streamline transactional flows and reporting, including CRM integration with Salesforce for billing and revenue data, payroll posting interfaces with ADP, tax calculation links to Avalara, customer billing context from Zendesk, and data feeds to GoodData and Gainsight for analytics and customer success reporting. These integration touchpoints reflect standard ERP Financial orchestration patterns where finance, revenue operations, payroll, tax, and customer support systems exchange transactional and master data. Governance and operational ownership remained with the Business Operations team, which managed configuration changes, release controls, and ongoing support across finance, revenue operations, and customer support stakeholders. The team maintained cross-system orchestration and source-to-report workflows to keep Sage Intacct aligned with the companys wider cloud business systems landscape.
