In 2017, Riot Games implemented Oracle E-Business Suite. Oracle E-Business Suite was deployed as an ERP Financial solution covering R12 finance modules AP, FA, AGIS, and EBTax to support Riot Games finance functions in the Greater Los Angeles Area.
The ERP Functional Lead conducted research and analysis of existing systems and business process flows and led fit gap analysis sessions to align current processes with EBS capabilities for accounts payable, fixed assets, and tax processing. Design artifacts created during the engagement included RD.030 for business requirements design, BP.080 for future business model documentation, and a RICE item listing to define execution phase scope. Approved RICE items were captured in MD.050 and the lead assisted developers to create MD.070, while the project team configured the system for CRP1, SIT and UAT to validate all enhancements.
Configuration and testing activity concentrated on accounts payable workflows, fixed asset management and AGIS related asset interfacing, plus tax calculation and reporting via EBTax, reflecting end to end ERP Financial coverage of core finance functions. All identified RICE items were validated through iterative testing cycles and troubleshooting efforts were executed to accelerate issue resolution.
Governance relied on the documented business requirements and a RICE driven execution model, with structured collaboration between the ERP Functional Lead and key business stakeholders to design solutions and embed future state finance workflows into operational practice.

In 2017 Riot Games implemented Greenhouse ATS to centralize recruiting and applicant intake. Greenhouse ATS is an Applicant Tracking System used to publish roles on the Riot Games careers site and capture candidate applications for the company's hiring processes.
The deployment used the vendor cloud hosted platform and was configured to manage requisition creation, job posting, candidate pipelines, interview scheduling, scorecards, and offer management. Configuration emphasized structured workflows and permissions to support recruiting teams and hiring managers across Riot Games, aligning hiring stages with standardized evaluation artifacts.
Integration with the Riot Games website enabled published job listings, candidate application forms, and automated application ingestion into Greenhouse ATS. Governance focused on requisition approval workflows, administrative access controls, and interview orchestration to centralize candidate data and structured evaluation records for recruiting operations.

| Vertica | Legacy | Vertica Analytics Platform | ML and Data Science Platforms | AI Development | n/a | 2012 | 2012 |
In 2012, Riot Games implemented Vertica Analytics Platform to centralize analytics workloads for its data science and analytics teams, aligning with its ML and Data Science Platforms needs. The Vertica Analytics Platform was deployed to support high-volume game telemetry and player behavior analysis, providing a SQL-first environment for exploratory analytics and feature engineering.
The implementation leveraged a distributed, shared-nothing analytics cluster architecture, using columnar storage and a massively parallel processing query engine to optimize large-scale ad hoc queries and model training extracts. Functional capabilities emphasized in-database analytics and machine learning primitives, scalable query concurrency, and high-throughput ingestion to sustain continuous event and session data flows.
Operational coverage included data science, analytics, live game operations, and product analytics workflows, with the Vertica Analytics Platform used as the central analytical store for feature pipelines and model scoring feeds. Deployment and configuration focused on cluster sizing, storage tiers, and query resource governance to balance exploratory and production inference workloads.
Governance and workflow changes centered on centralized data catalogs, role-based access controls, and standardized SQL-based feature definitions to improve reproducibility of experiments and production model handoffs. The implementation placed emphasis on instrumentation of query patterns and schema design to support iterative feature development and operational analytics across Riot Games.
