In 2010 Robeco International implemented SDL Tridion for Content Management. SDL Tridion became the content management system in which Robeco manages all its websites, including the customer portal Mijn Robeco.
The implementation concentrated on the Mijn Robeco site with a clear emphasis on functional and performance testing. Testing activities encompassed content authoring workflows, CMS-driven page rendering verification, and performance validation aligned with web delivery and publishing processes under SDL Tridion.
Project delivery required coordinated work between Robeco engineers, the Romania based engineering team at ISDC, and the design firm Clockwork, reflecting a distributed delivery structure. Operational coverage was primarily in the Netherlands for business testing and collaboration with ISDC in Romania for engineering and integration work, positioning SDL Tridion as the central Content Management platform for Robeco’s web estate.
In the Netherlands Rob led a test team of five business analysts responsible for functional and performance test execution and defect validation. From summer 2011 Robeco owned the test process for the SDL Tridion upgrade, and the upgraded SDL Tridion version was taken into production successfully in February 2012, supported by centralized test governance and cross organization coordination between development, design, and business testing teams.

In 2013 Robeco International implemented Microsoft Dynamics CRM as its primary customer relationship management platform. The deployment supports Robeco's global client servicing and relationship management processes under the CRM category.
The Microsoft Dynamics CRM implementation is continuously evolved through framework-level configuration, including form customization, creation of business rules and workflows, and JavaScript extensions to extend the platform and optimize usability. These capabilities are used to standardize data entry, enforce business logic, and automate routine CRM workflows. The application name Microsoft Dynamics CRM is central to daily operational tooling for client-facing teams.
Operational coverage is worldwide and day-to-day operations include second line user support, incident management, impact analysis for incoming change requests, and routine maintenance such as changing forms and updating scripts. Since September 2015 a Functional Application Manager engaged via Brunel has been responsible for functional application management, coordinating impact analysis and handling second line support. This role ties technical changes back to business needs and prioritizes work requests against the evolving framework.
Scrum is used to manage projects and requests, introducing sprint cadence for delivering configuration changes and resolving incidents while enabling incremental enhancements to the Microsoft Dynamics CRM framework. Governance focuses on change impact analysis and controlled rollout of business rules, workflows and client-side JavaScript to maintain usability and consistency across regions. The implementation emphasizes ongoing configuration and support rather than a one-time rollout, reflecting continuous evolution of the CRM environment.
