Operational coverage included site managers, regional approvers, the centralized AP department and accounting staff, enabling all participants in the invoice cycle to inquire on or report invoices and extract invoice and check images for vendors or auditors. Governance was enforced through routing rules established during setup so users only see invoices for entities they are authorized to enter or approve, and the approval process was configured to require appropriate management signoffs. Outcomes stated by Royal American include same day readiness of processed invoices eliminating mailing delays, restoration of discount capture opportunities, elimination of late fees from utility providers, improved internal controls, and reduced time consuming calls between sites and accounting.
