TimberScan’s functional capabilities implemented at Royal American included invoice capture and indexing, flexible routing based on entity and user authority, approval workflow control, document storage and PDF export, and role-based inquiry and reporting to enable site managers to own their AP processes.
TimberScan was integrated with Sage 300 CRE to provide real time vendor and general ledger account information, supporting on-screen verification during data entry and reducing coding errors. Operationally the architecture distributed capture to site level staff, routing invoices through configurable approval chains before reaching central accounting, which reduced paper handling and manual phone inquiries.
