In 2016 SafeSide Tactical implemented Celerant Stratus Warehouse Management to centralize POS, eCommerce, range scheduling and inventory tracking, with the objective of improving omnichannel fulfillment while maintaining federal A&D compliance in the United States. The deployment replaced Command and consolidated retail and online order flows under a single Warehouse Management platform to reduce fragmentation across sales channels.
Celerant Stratus Warehouse Management was configured to unify point of sale processing, web storefront order ingestion, range scheduling, and inventory visibility, using Warehouse Management functionality for inventory tracking and order orchestration. Configuration work focused on SKU level inventory reconciliation, channel prioritization for fulfillment, and workflow automation for picking and shipping to support mixed store and online fulfillment patterns.
The implementation integrated with distributor and warehouse partners to enable drop-ship and third party fulfillment flows, and operational scope covered retail store operations, eCommerce order management, inventory control, and fulfillment teams within the United States. The solution preserved A&D compliance controls for regulated sales while routing distributor-managed orders through the WMS-enabled fulfillment processes.
Governance centered on centralized inventory and distributor management and on standardizing order routing and fulfillment policies across channels after the 2016 transition. Reported outcomes from the SafeSide Tactical implementation include a roughly 400% increase in online traffic and tighter inventory and distributor management following the move to Celerant Stratus Warehouse Management.
