Fiori Apps were included for user interaction and operational visibility. Integration and technical orchestration included SAP MDG for master data creation and governance, Idoc design and implementation with AIF Idoc monitoring for interface management, and SolMan for configuration transport management. Quality and release processes used HPALM for requirement tracking, test planning, testing and defect tracking, and coordination between functional and technical teams governed development artifacts and transports. The architecture centered on a single global SAP S4 system and standardized application footprint to reduce fragmentation across connected systems. Program governance emphasized cross-country workshops, feasibility studies, requirements gathering, functional specification authoring and design workshops led by Accenture and core S/4HANA leads. Test lifecycle stages included FUT, SIT, UAT and Hyper Care with dedicated processes for issue resolution and defect management. Customization requests followed documented functional specifications and technical collaboration for developments and transport management through SolMan. Shift was positioned as a key enabler for simplification and standardization of business processes and the project delivered SAP S/4 HANA as the enterprise ERP Financial backbone for Sanofi UK and the broader country rollout. Ongoing activities included rollout planning, country-level support for implemented sites and continued stabilization of finance and project accounting processes.

The program worked closely with Accenture and Infosys teams to assess and align design standards, and managed system testing activities including SIT and UAT for North America phase 1 and phase 2 rollout. Sanofi UK SAP BusinessObjects Lumira implementation therefore tied Analytics and BI tooling to revenue management and Customer Service business functions under a structured governance model.
