Oracle Legacy Oracle Cloud ERP ERP Financial ERP Jade Global 2018 2019
In 2018 Save A Lot implemented Oracle Cloud ERP as its ERP Financial platform. Jade Global executed the first installment of an IT transition to change existing banks to new banks and to integrate bank file exchange workflows with Save A Lot finance systems. Oracle Cloud ERP was configured to support core finance workflows including payments processing, bank file ingestion and scheduled reconciliation processes typical of ERP Financial deployments. The implementation focused on Oracle Cloud ERP finance modules and scheduled job orchestration to pick inbound files and initiate outbound payment flows. The deployment architecture integrated middleware components Boomi and Microsoft Azure, using Azure Service Bus and Azure Storage as staging and messaging layers. Boomi connected directly with bank FTP endpoints to inbound and outbound payment files, Azure Storage served as the staging area for inbound files, and Azure Service Bus provided messaging between Oracle Cloud ERP and Boomi to signal file arrival and process initiation, using publish and subscribe topology to allow multiple downstream consumers. Jade Global acted as system integrator for the bank cutover and middleware integration work, embedding message peek based error handling so Boomi detects file arrival and removes messages only after successful transfer. The design emphasized decoupling between Boomi and Oracle Cloud ERP to improve scalability and debugging, and the Azure Service Bus features reduced custom development by providing native messaging reliability and operational error handling across Save A Lot finance operations in the United States.

UKG Legacy UKG Workforce Central Payroll (ex Kronos Workforce Payroll) Payroll HCM n/a 2014 2014
In 2014 Save A Lot implemented UKG Workforce Central Payroll (ex Kronos Workforce Payroll) to centralize and manage company payroll. The UKG Workforce Central Payroll application is used to process payroll for all 6,500 employees in the United States and serves as Save A Lot’s primary Payroll system for pay calculation, tax withholding, and benefit deduction processing. The implementation emphasized core Payroll modules and workflows common to enterprise payroll platforms, including payroll processing engines, tax and compliance calculation, payroll register and pay statement generation, benefits and deduction processing, and standard payroll reporting. Configuration work focused on employee payroll records, pay cycle scheduling, earnings code rules, and deduction mappings to support recurring and exception payroll runs. Operational scope covered day to day payroll processing by Save A Lot payroll staff, reconciliations of payroll registers, and resolution of employment benefit issues raised by employees. The described role encompassed end to end payroll execution activities, from collecting payroll inputs through final payroll posting and employee inquiry handling. Governance centered on a centralized payroll operations model with defined ownership for payroll runs, payroll controls, reconciliations, and benefits issue escalation workflows, aligning operational procedures with the capabilities of UKG Workforce Central Payroll.

Oracle Legacy Oracle Retail (ex Retek) Retail Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2006 2006
In 2006, Save A Lot implemented Oracle Retail (ex Retek) to standardize core merchandising, pricing, forecasting, and store inventory capabilities. The Oracle Retail (ex Retek) deployment is classified in the Retail Management category and targeted enterprise retail operations across merchandising, pricing and store replenishment workflows. The implementation included Merchandising (RMS), Pricing (RPM), Demand Forecasting (RDF), Store Inventory (RSIM) with Automated Store Replenishment (ASR), the RDW data warehouse, and a Pricing Optimization SaaS solution. Configuration work emphasized merchandise hierarchies, price book management, demand forecasting model parameterization, and automation of replenishment rules to support store-level inventory control. Operational coverage spanned merchandising, pricing, supply chain planning, store operations and enterprise reporting functions, with the RDW supporting downstream analytics and reporting. Support and operations were run in a 24x7 model, with directed management of an outsourced technical support team and an offshore operations support team to handle incident resolution and operational continuity. Governance centralized escalation and problem-resolution workflows to maintain continuous operations, and operational monitoring was used to preserve availability. The program maintained a high level of problem resolution and up-time while embedding Oracle Retail (ex Retek) into Save A Lot business processes.
