The deployment established Frontier Software iChris as the central HR and payroll system supporting the organisation's head office in Carlton and member organisations across the Pacific, including Vanuatu, Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea, and targeted administration for an employee base exceeding 1000 staff. The implementation focused on end to end payroll processing, superannuation administration, end of month reporting and Single Touch Payroll 2 final event lodgement. Operational workflows were coordinated between Payroll, Human Resources and Finance teams to process payroll and maintain compliance with industrial relations and legislative requirements. The Senior Payroll Officer and System Administrator role reported to the Payroll Manager and carried out configuration changes, UAT oversight and system administration tasks from the head office. Governance incorporated structured reconciliation and reporting cycles, lodgement of end of financial year events via STP2 and active participation in process improvement reviews to refine payroll operation and configuration across sites. The Frontier Software iChris implementation emphasized controlled configuration, formal UAT and centralised administration to support cross jurisdiction payroll operations.
