SAP Legacy SAP Business Suite ERP Financial ERP n/a 2014 2014
In 2014, Schils B.V. (Van Drie Holding) implemented SAP Business Suite to operationalize core commercial and financial processes, placing the application into the ERP Financial domain. The deployment was centered on enabling VKB to supervise, regulate, manage and perform administrative tasks in support of the sales team within a centralized SAP Business Suite environment. The implementation configured order-to-cash workflows covering order entry, order handling and delivery coordination from receipt of customer orders through production scheduling and final delivery or pickup. Functional capabilities implemented include customer master data management, price list distribution and selling price assignment, sales order processing and invoice administration, complaint registration and case tracking, and capture of new product and new customer data as the initial seller input point. Operational coverage extends across VKB as the primary administrative hub, the sales organization including agents and representatives, warehouse planning, logistics and freight forwarding staff, and accounts invoicing personnel. The SAP Business Suite deployment also supports external operational relationships with customers, transport companies and suppliers by managing transport appointments, trade order processing and the dissemination of pricing and order status information. Governance and process responsibilities were assigned to VKB, granting operational powers for entering data into the automated ERP system and making VKB responsible for the correct execution of order entry, order handling and transport appointments. The system is used to manage and track all relevant customer information and to log and resolve customer issues, thereby contributing to customer satisfaction.
