In 2011, Schleifring Systems North America implemented Sage 50 Quantum as its ERP Financial application alongside MISys Manufacturing to consolidate fragmented Excel and Sage processes for the U.S. subsidiary. The organization purchased MISys in 2011 and deployed Sage 50 Quantum to provide a unified accounting and transactional backbone for financial reporting and order processing.
Sage 50 Quantum served as the ERP Financial system for core accounting, order management and consolidated financial reporting, while MISys Manufacturing delivered manufacturing-focused capabilities including production planning, purchasing workflows and materials handling. Configuration centered on aligning transactional posting from shop floor and purchasing transactions in MISys with ledger and reporting structures in Sage 50 Quantum to support consolidated reporting and purchasing control.
Integration work led by Misys connected MISys Manufacturing to Sage 50 Quantum, enabling end to end ordering, materials requirements coordination and consolidated reporting across the U.S. subsidiary. The rollout concentrated on replacing spreadsheet-driven workflows, standardizing purchasing and production planning processes, and improving efficiency in ordering and materials handling as reported after the MISys and Sage 50 Quantum integration.
