Oracle Oracle E-Business Suite Oracle Cloud ERP ERP Financial ERP n/a 2019 2020
In 2019 Schroders initiated the Finance Reporting and Costs Strategy (FRCS) Programme, running from January 2019 to February 2020, to upgrade from Oracle E-Business Suite to Oracle Cloud ERP. The work concentrated in the Cost Work Stream and was staffed with an Oracle Fusion Functional Consultant role to implement Oracle Cloud ERP in the ERP Financial category across Schroders finance operations. The implementation covered functional configuration and testing for Requisition to Pay R2P, Record to Report R2R, and Invoice to Cash I2C process areas, with responsibilities to provide functional expertise, produce test plans and use cases, and develop reports and training materials. Functional analysis was performed to inform configuration decisions and to feed integration specifications used during build and test cycles. Data migration and integration activities were a defined part of the programme, including data cleansing and data mappings to transition financial master and transactional data into Oracle Cloud ERP and Oracle Fusion components. The narrative documents the role of functional specifications as inputs into integration design, indicating an architecture that consolidated transaction processing and financial reporting in Oracle Fusion while coordinating interface requirements with surrounding systems. Governance and process transformation included Target Operating Model development to align finance, procurement, accounts receivable, cost management, and reporting workflows to the new Oracle Cloud ERP capabilities. The consultant role combined configuration, testing, data migration support, and training collateral production to support programme rollout and sustainment in Schroders finance organization.

Oracle Legacy Oracle Cloud HCM Absence Management Absence and Leave Management HCM n/a 2015 2015
In 2015, Schroders implemented Oracle Cloud HCM Absence Management to standardize absence and leave workflows as part of a broader Oracle Human Capital Management Cloud program. The implementation targeted Absence and Leave Management capabilities alongside talent, performance, and compensation processes to support global HR operations across the firm. The Oracle Cloud HCM Absence Management deployment was configured to support absence approvals within email, automated leave recording, and linkages between absence data and performance and compensation records. The deployment also centralized talent review and performance modules to enable collaborative document editing, faster goal and review completion, and consolidated reporting so a single report could cover performance, goals, talent, and compensation rather than multiple fragmented outputs. Operational integration included a direct integration of Oracle Recruiting Cloud Service with Oracle E-Business Suite so new hire data is automatically uploaded to create employment records, eliminating manual data entry. The rollout covered global teams and recruiting activity across 28 countries, supporting roughly 300 new recruits per year and enabling global talent reviews across about 4,000 staff. Schroders engaged Oracle Platinum Partner Certus Solutions as the implementation partner, using an iterative delivery model with on-site workshops, webinars, and global calls to validate configuration against regional requirements. Governance was adjusted to align HCM product upgrades to the business cycle and to simplify approval workflows, increasing usability for managers and employees. Outcomes documented by Schroders include a 3 to 4 percent increase in performance review completion rates and an overall talent review completion rate of 97 percent, elimination of manual extraction and analysis processes, and the first ability to deliver consistent, global talent reports that combine absence, performance, and compensation data for informed management decisions.

Temenos Legacy Temenos T24 Core Banking ERP Services and Operations n/a 2015 2015
In 2015 Schroders deployed Temenos T24 as its Core Banking application. The deployment focused on strengthening client onboarding and account management workflows within Schroders London operations while coordinating account provisioning with the Service Centre in Zurich, impacting Front Office client services, compliance, and operations teams. Temenos T24 was configured to capture client static data, create account and entity types, and record investment restrictions, tax attributes and MiFID client classification. The implementation included data models and structured fields to correctly link individuals, trusts and corporate entities to partner types and to associate relevant third parties, enabling consistent post account opening checks and formal record-keeping of client documentation in Temenos T24. Operational connectivity and screening were integrated into the onboarding flow, with Document Control teams in London using Dow-Jones Factiva, Dow-Jones Risk Centre and LexisNexis to perform CDD and enhanced due diligence, and feeding those results into Temenos T24 workflows for remediation tracking. Coordination with the Service Centre in Zurich established a cross-site handoff for account setup and validation, aligning Front Office remediations, client agreement updates and tax form captures inside the core system. Governance was formalized around static data stewardship, KYC and tax regimes including Qualified Intermediary requirements, and escalation rules for high risk clients. Document Control and client services teams advised Front Office executives on onboarding queries and developed systems to capture required client data earlier, which reduced account opening times while positioning Temenos T24 as the canonical store for onboarding data, investment restrictions and compliance attributes.
