In 2012, Scope implemented Infor SunSystems. Infor SunSystems was deployed as the central ERP Financial platform supporting Scope finance teams across national projects and central accounting operations.
The deployment centered on Sun 4.3.3 and adjacent financial tooling including Vision, Advanced Inquiry, and Integra e series. Functional coverage included maintenance of Sun accounts and all ledger records, creation and deletion of chart of account codes and analysis codes, management of the level matrix hierarchy, and user account provisioning and unlocking. Administration extended to configuring business rules inside Infor SunSystems and maintaining edition specific components such as Vision and Advanced Inquiry for reporting and query capabilities.
Integrations implemented alongside Infor SunSystems included the Integra e series e procurement and purchase ordering system and a budgeting system Office Plus PM10, with bespoke OLAP based reporting used for project level budgets. Operational processes included weekly data extraction from Integra followed by posting into Infor SunSystems, and coordination with third party software providers for troubleshooting and interface support. The implementation therefore tied project budgeting, procurement data flows, and ledger posting into a single ERP Financial record of truth.
Governance and operational ownership were centralized under Sun Administrator responsibilities, which covered installing Sun, Vision and Advanced Inquiry on spare PCs, applying update patches, managing licensing renewals, enforcing month end period close, and providing system support and training to all finance staff. Control activities documented by administrators included creating analysis structures, maintaining level matrices, locking and unlocking users against period close deadlines, and supporting bespoke OLAP report creation for finance users.

In 2018, Scope implemented MHR iTrent HR to provision Core HR capabilities across its HR, payroll and people management functions for its United Kingdom operations. The deployment focused on operationalizing MHR iTrent HR as the primary system for employee lifecycle processes, with direct ownership by the HR team responsible for system health and upgrades.
Implementation covered configuration and activation of eRecruitment, Core HR, Payroll, L&D, Expenses, and Employee and Manager Self-Service modules, with standard and enhanced reporting workflows. The program included creation of recruitment request processes, workflows to notify changes such as absence within probation or payroll changes, and task triggers for authorisation workflows, ensuring new feature enablement and upgrade testing was completed as part of release activities.
Integrations and operational execution included report generation using Business Object for HR, managers and the senior management team, producing FOI reports, weekly sickness reports, monthly Manager and HR Director reports, and a quarterly KPI report for SMT. Payroll operations were executed monthly for 900 staff including additional payments, deductions and adjustments, and pension administration was managed with file uploads to Legal and General as part of pension scheme processing.
Governance and adoption activities included training HR staff on Core HR, Payroll, L&D and eRecruitment, and training all staff and managers on Employee and Manager Self-Service to enable more access and information to managers through iTrent. Ongoing operational responsibilities comprised ensuring the HR system runs correctly and smoothly, testing and enabling upgrades, providing payroll and pensions advice to managers and staff, and managing and upskilling a four person team while aligning team objectives with KPI objectives.
