Microsoft Legacy Microsoft Dynamics 365 Payroll Payroll HCM n/a 2017 2018
In 2017, Score Group implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Payroll to centralize statutory and operational payroll processing, aligning payroll functions with its broader Microsoft application estate. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Payroll was deployed as a core Payroll platform to support multi‑entity payroll configuration across the organization. The implementation encompassed standard Payroll capabilities including pay run orchestration, statutory tax and deduction configuration, payroll element setup, and payroll reporting. The project reused established patterns from Score Group’s ERP work, applying security role design and SSRS reporting practices to the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Payroll configuration and reporting stack. Deployment architecture placed Microsoft Dynamics 365 Payroll within Score Group’s Microsoft cloud footprint, operating alongside the company’s existing on premises virtual infrastructure and Azure centric initiatives. The Payroll implementation was integrated with Score Group’s Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP program for workforce master data and time & attendance feeds, enabling payroll processing to consume employee and time data from the ERP environment. Governance and operational handoff leveraged internal App Support and Systems Development discipline, including development of security roles, data migration pipelines using Atlas for data extraction and manipulation, and maintenance of custom SQL views and documentation created during the ERP program. Rollout and operational coverage aligned to the multi company ERP rollout, supporting HR and Finance payroll workflows across the 15 to 20 companies referenced in the ERP project.
