| SCC Soft Computer | Legacy | SCC SoftTotalQC | Laboratory Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2019 | 2021 | In 2019, SDS Pathology Australia contracted SCC Soft Computer to deploy SCC SoftTotalQC as part of SCC’s laboratory and genetics suite. The purchase was announced March 2019 as a multisite modernization covering 100+ labs and a large collection network across Australia, with a program focus on centralizing quality control, inventory and reporting across the nationwide pathology network. SCC SoftTotalQC was implemented within the Laboratory Management footprint to provide centralized QC management, inventory control and consolidated reporting. Implementation work centered on configuration of QC rule management, reagent lot and inventory tracking, multi-site result reconciliation workflows and standardized reporting templates, aligned to laboratory quality assurance and genetics laboratory requirements. Deployment architecture adopted a centralized multisite model with core application services and data aggregation serving distributed laboratory sites, enabling consolidated dashboards and cross-site QC visibility. Integrations were implemented to collect QC and inventory feeds from individual laboratory operations and to aggregate reporting across the network, supporting clinical laboratory and genetics data flows within SDS Pathology Australia. Rollout was executed as a staged multisite program with centralized governance to standardize QC rules, change control and reporting cadence across sites, combined with local site validation and training to align operational workflows. The program aimed to improve lab quality controls and drive operational consolidation across the national network. |
