In 2017 Selfridges implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as the core ERP Financial platform under a Finance Transformation Programme. The engagement began in 2017 and extended through a multi year delivery period, with Data Solutions Architect activity focused on solution and data architecture, data integration, and migration to Oracle E-Business Suite R12.
The implementation concentrated on core financial management capabilities typical of an ERP Financial deployment, including migration and configuration of general ledger structures, accounts payable and receivable processes, fixed assets accounting, and period closing controls. Workstreams included chart of accounts redesign, accounting rule configuration, transactional interface definition, and data cleansing initiatives to align source records to Oracle E-Business Suite transaction and master data models.
Architecturally the program delivered a data integration and migration design that moved financial data from the Coda finance application into Oracle E-Business Suite R12. The solution design specified extract, transform and load pipelines, staging areas for reconciliation, deterministic mapping of master data, and reconciliation controls to validate balances during cutover. These integration artifacts provided the technical path for sustained financial data flows into Oracle E-Business Suite.
Governance for the Finance Transformation Programme structured cross functional validation and change control between finance and IT, with operational focus on enterprise finance operations at Selfridges. The programme was delivered successfully and emphasized rigorous data reconciliation, cutover planning, and stabilized post go live support to embed Oracle E-Business Suite as the primary ERP Financial system.

In 2016 Selfridges implemented Workday Absence Management as part of a broader Workday HR deployment. The Workday Absence Management implementation was delivered alongside Workday HR, Time and Learning modules into Selfridges Retail and Group to meet cross-entity people management requirements.
Configuration emphasized harmonised absence policies and working practices, embedding consistent rules for leave types, eligibility and approval workflows across retail and group entities. The implementation provided a platform to feed people data into other systems and to surface absence-related insight to the business, supporting downstream reporting and people analytics.
Deployment established Workday as the centralized cloud HR application and positioned Workday Absence Management as the system of record for time off and absence reporting, with coherent data flows into Time and Learning modules. Functional capabilities implemented aligned with Absence and Leave Management norms, including absence request and approval workflows, balance calculations and manager notifications.
Governance and rollout were led by an HR Business Lead accountable from Aug 2016 to Aug 2019, who oversaw policy harmonization and embedding of working practices across Selfridges Retail and Group. The scope of the implementation impacted HR operations and people insight by standardizing absence administration and creating consistent feeds for other people systems.

In 2018, Selfridges implemented Oracle Property Manager to support concession management within its retail operations. The deployment used Oracle Property Manager in the Real Estate Property Management category as part of a broader Oracle Financials R12.2.6 initiative.
The implementation centered on Oracle Property Manager integrated into Oracle Financials R12.2.6 and explicitly involved financial modules including Accounts Receivable, Payables, Fixed Assets and E-Business Tax. Configuration work focused on concession management workflows, concession billing and rent schedules, aligning property charge rules with financial posting and settlement logic.
Integration work was led to connect Oracle Financials to Oracle Retail Merchandise RMS and Procure to Pay components, with explicit integrations to iProc, Purchase Orders, Payables, Oracle Payments and the Approvals Management Engine AME. Data mappings and transactional handoffs were established so concession fee and settlement data flowed from Oracle Property Manager into RMS and the P2P financial flows for invoice processing and payment reconciliation.
A Quality Assurance Lead managed end to end validation for the Oracle Financials R12.2.6 solution and led the integration efforts for the Client's Concession Management using Oracle Property Manager. Governance included cross functional testing across finance and retail concession operations, configuration change control and coordinated validation of AR, Payables and payment flows to ensure alignment between property management and core financial systems.
