In 2015, Sentinel implemented Five9 Cloud to centralize its contact handling and support client-facing operations. Sentinel deployed Five9 Cloud as a cloud-hosted Call Center solution, procured direct from the vendor, to provide a managed telephony and agent platform.
The Five9 Cloud implementation included standard Call Center functional capabilities such as automatic call distribution, interactive voice response, outbound dialing workflows, an agent desktop for call handling, and real-time and historical reporting. Configuration emphasized queue definitions, skill based routing, and campaign setups aligned to sales and client services use cases.
Operational coverage focused on contact center activities for client services, sales, and account management across Sentinel's United States operations, scaled to an organization of approximately 50 employees. The deployment used cloud provisioning and vendor managed updates to minimize on premises infrastructure needs and to centralize telephone routing and reporting in the Five9 Cloud environment.
Governance changes introduced centralized queue ownership, standardized call handling procedures, and agent workflow documentation tied to the Five9 Cloud console. Ongoing administration was retained in house with the vendor providing direct support and subscription based maintenance for the Call Center platform.
