The scope of use was credit strategy and pricing teams responsible for lending policy enforcement. Governance adjustments accompanied the rollout to align pricing approvals and limit setting with the new decision logic, updating credit policy to reflect automated recommendations and regulatory constraints. Rollout prioritized embedding Experian Optimize outputs into existing credit review and pricing governance to reduce manual overrides and preserve auditability. Experian reported improved revenue per customer and faster, more accurate decision making compared to conventional systems, and the implementation supported Shinsei Bank's compliance posture under the revised Money Lending Business Law in Japan.
