In 2025, Sibs implemented GEP SMART Contract Management to centralize and scale its source-to-contract processes across its multi-country operations, using the application as its primary Contract Lifecycle Management platform. The deployment leverages GEP SOFTWARE’s cloud-native, AI-first GEP QUANTUM platform to host upstream procurement operations, aligning sourcing, contract management and supplier management workflows under a unified environment.
Configuration focused on contract lifecycle capabilities typical of Contract Lifecycle Management, including contract authoring and clause library support, electronic contract repository, approval and signature workflows, obligation and renewals tracking, and configurable lifecycle states and reporting. GEP SMART Contract Management was configured to enforce standardized templates and automated approval routing to reduce manual handoffs and provide a single source of truth for contracting across legal, procurement and sourcing teams.
The implementation included integrations with core enterprise financial and ERP systems, leveraging GEP SOFTWARE’s integration patterns to connect with SAP and Oracle and other major ERP and finance systems, enabling contract data flow into purchasing and accounts payables processes. Operational coverage targeted Sibs’ procurement and sourcing functions across more than 25 countries, consolidating supplier records and contract metadata to improve visibility into the supplier base.
Governance workstreams accompanied the rollout to standardize contracting policies, approval matrices and compliance controls, while process automation aimed to accelerate cycle times and improve contract compliance. The program emphasized centralized contract governance, supplier analytics readiness and standardized upstream procurement operations to support Sibs’ fast-growing, multi-geography payments business.
