In 2011, Sidra Medical and Research Center implemented Infor Lawson Absence and Leave Management to support Absence and Leave Management across HR and workforce administration. The engagement focused on delivering Leave and Time and Attendance capabilities alongside Lawson HCM to address workforce scheduling, absence tracking and core HR recordkeeping.
The Infor Lawson Absence and Leave Management deployment included configuration and enhancement of Lawson leave management, time and attendance modules and the Lawson HCM module. Deliverables included system analysis tied to scope and requirements definition, development of a Sidra HR process map, creation of test scenarios for Work Force Management and Lawson HCM, and production of user guides for Lawson HCM and WFM.
Integration work emphasized end to end testing practices, the team carried out integration testing and system testing of new development work and provided ongoing Lawson HCM and WFM system support. Project activities included functional and technical issue resolution for HR users, liaison and follow up between Sidra business users and the Lawson team to drive enhancement timelines, and alignment of the HR solution with the vendor product roadmaps.
Governance and rollout oversight incorporated supervision of HCM module activities, development and maintenance of the project schedule to deliver within agreed timeframes and resources, gap analysis between Sidra processes and the Lawson HCM system, and preparation of progress reports for the HCM implementation. The role also provided business process guidance for Human Resources ERP requirements, validated requirements with stakeholders, and recommended process improvements based on analysis.
