Viewpoint Construction Intuit QuickBooks Online Viewpoint Spectrum Construction ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2014 2015
In 2014, Signature Industrial Services implemented Viewpoint Spectrum as its Construction ERP platform. The deployment centralized financial management and project accounting for a firm with 60 employees in the construction and real estate sector, replacing prior use of Intuit QuickBooks Online and spreadsheet-based job costing and billing processes. Dexter + Chaney carried out the Spectrum conversion and configured core modules including financial management, project accounting, job costing, billing and contract management, and procurement to reflect contractor billing cycles and site cost capture. Data migration consolidated transactional records from Intuit QuickBooks Online and Excel into Viewpoint Spectrum, with configuration work focused on chart of accounts alignment, job and phase structures, and standardized billing templates. Operational scope targeted accounting, estimating and field operations functions, and governance changes moved approvals, job cost reconciliation, and invoice workflows into Spectrum’s native control and reporting framework, establishing a single source of truth for project financials.
