Datalinx Legacy Datalinx Warehouse Manager 500/1000 Warehouse Management SCM n/a 2014 2014
In 2014, Sinclairs implemented Datalinx Warehouse Manager 500/1000 to standardize warehouse operations. The deployment targeted Warehouse Management across manufacturing, customer services, stock and warehouse management functions within the organization. The implementation of Datalinx Warehouse Manager 500/1000 centered on core Warehouse Management capabilities, including inventory control, goods receipt and putaway, discrete and batch picking, packing and dispatch processes, and task orchestration consistent with warehouse control workflows. Configuration work emphasized location management, barcode scanning and transaction validation to align operational procedures with warehouse execution. Integration was established with the companys Sage 1000 manufacturing and business systems to synchronize stock levels, manufacturing order status and customer order information. Interfaces were designed to maintain inventory reciprocity between Datalinx Warehouse Manager 500/1000 and Sage 1000, supporting order flow from sales and manufacturing into warehouse execution. Operational rollout focused on embedding new workflows between warehouse and manufacturing teams and formalizing process ownership for receiving, storage and outbound fulfilment. Governance changes included configuring system-driven task allocation and updating standard operating procedures to reflect the Warehouse Management system driven processes.
