In 2015 Sissy-boy implemented Salesforce Commerce Cloud to modernize its online storefront and centralize eCommerce operations for the Dutch market. The engagement targeted the Dutch front-end, customer experience, and conversion, positioning Salesforce Commerce Cloud as the primary eCommerce platform for storefront rendering and customer-facing workflows.
The implementation concentrated on front-end configuration and conversion-oriented functionality, including CMS-driven content management for product pages, merchandising and promotion configuration, and checkout and cart optimization consistent with eCommerce platform capabilities. Work focused on tailoring storefront templates and content to Dutch customers, with emphasis on user experience and conversion pathways managed through the Commerce Cloud environment.
The rollout was executed in close cooperation with the IT team of Varova Fashion Holding, and included a technical transition of the webshop system from Magento to Demandware, which is the former name of Salesforce Commerce Cloud. Operational coverage remained focused on the Netherlands, impacting eCommerce, digital merchandising, and customer experience teams, while coordinating platform cutover activities with central IT.
Governance was structured around joint ownership between Sissy-boy’s front-end and Varova IT teams, ensuring continuity of customer experience during the platform transition. The project delivered a smooth transition of the webshop system and established Salesforce Commerce Cloud as the core eCommerce platform for Sissy-boy, supporting ongoing storefront and conversion management within the eCommerce function.
