In 2017 SKF implemented Infor LX as its Manufacturing ERP. The Infor LX deployment was positioned to support manufacturing operations including production planning, materials requirements planning and inventory control across SKF manufacturing units, with configuration emphasis on MRP parameterization and procurement workflows.
Subsequent operational work at SKF India Pune from February 2021 to May 2021 documented supplier delivery performance activities that operated alongside the ERP footprint. Those activities included creating and updating purchase orders on Infor XA, clearing overdue purchase orders, daily reporting of due purchase orders to planners with planner comments, and parameter correction in MRP systems, together with Demand Chain Framework reporting for Supply Mode B and preparation of supply chain profiles.

Process governance documented SIM stock versus stock statement audits, initiation of SKF receipt on barcode capture from all suppliers, creation of local warehouses for remaining suppliers, and execution of NSDC contracts with remaining suppliers.
Operational coverage centers on supply chain and manufacturing functions at SKF India Pune, engaging planners, procurement and warehouse operations. Governance changes focused on daily planner reporting, SIM adherence audits and MRP parameter corrections as core controls within the supplier delivery performance program.
