In 2017, Sole 365 deployed Zucchetti HCM as its Core HR application. The implementation targeted HR management for the Italian retail chain of approximately 3,500 employees, establishing a centralized system for personnel records, HR administration, and employee service access aligned to store staffing and corporate HR workflows.
Operational implementation included on premise installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance carried out by internal IT staff. The deployment emphasized core HR functional capabilities typical of the Core HR category, including personnel master data, role based access to HR services via the company intranet, and administrative workflows for store level employee provisioning.
Zucchetti HCM was operated within the companys broader IT stack, with instances maintained on VMWare virtual machines, data accessible through SQL database queries, backups managed with Veem, and system availability monitored by Consolone. The HR application coexisted with retail infrastructure components such as RT servers, cash registers, PDA terminals, and Linfa commercial management software, and was managed alongside endpoint protections provided by Deceptive bytes antivirus.
Governance and operational ownership rested with Sole 365s IT organization, which handled installation, configuration, and store rollout responsibilities, including opening new stores and intranet access management. Zucchetti HCM served as the authoritative Core HR system within that governed operational model, with IT processes oriented to sustain availability across point of sale sites and corporate HR operations.
