In 2020, Solitude World implemented Poster POS at Solitude Acacia Resort when the group took over the property, to manage F&B outlets and diving-center sales. Poster POS is a Point Of Sale application that was subsequently rolled out to additional diving centers in the Philippines to standardize transactional workflows and sales capture across sites. The implementation supported front of house transaction processing for food and beverage outlets and point of sale operations for dive shop retail and activity bookings.
Configuration focused on inventory tracking and consolidated sales reporting, with Poster POS configured to deliver reliable real-time data to operational staff and management. The deployment emphasized cashier level transaction workflows and centralized sales dashboards to reduce human error and improve inventory and sales reporting accuracy. Poster POS was used to unify sales data streams into a single reporting layer for the group.
The solution was integrated with Cloudbeds PMS to exchange booking and sales transaction information and align guest related charges with property management records. Integration with Cloudbeds supported reconciliation between guest folios and POS transactions, improving visibility across reservations and outlet sales. Operational coverage included F&B outlets and diving centers, with rollouts extending beyond the initial resort footprint into the Philippines.
Governance focused on standardizing POS procedures and centralizing reporting to reduce manual reconciliation work and to improve operational consistency across sites. Rollout across diving centers was executed to enforce common inventory practices and sales workflows, enabling consistent data capture from point of sale terminals. The case notes explicitly report reduced human error and improved inventory and sales reporting as outcomes of the Poster POS implementation.
