The program included a formal disaster recovery architecture for key applications, the DR plan was tested annually with a full cutover to a DR site, and operational coverage spanned finance, sales operations and channel management.
Governance combined a Business Application Architecture council with process improvement methods, Six Sigma DMAIC fundamentals were incorporated into project and process frameworks to rewire processes needed to transform from a direct sales model into a two tier channel distribution model. The rollout emphasized phased process change, application configuration alignment to channel workflows and ongoing governance by the application leadership team, and the company was recognized with a 31st place ranking in the 2015 InformationWeek Elite 100 list of top technology innovators.
