The implementation focused on core ERP Financial modules and configuration typical for the category, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, cash management and treasury, consolidation and financial reporting. Oracle Cloud ERP was configured to support the monthly financial close calendar, conversion of IFRS-based financial statements to US reporting packages for managerial use, budget to actual variance analysis, and strategic planning processes that require iterative stress testing and roll up of annual budgets.
Oracle Cloud ERP was integrated with Adaptive Insights as the planning tool and with existing reporting systems to improve internal management reporting, consistent with SoundCloud requirements to leverage Oracle Fusion and planning systems. The deployment also accounted for ESOP tracking and equity accounting workflows, with Shareworks used for ESOP pool tracking and provision of SBC compensation entries to feed into Oracle Cloud ERP for audit and 409a valuation purposes.
Governance and operational workflows were restructured to embed the Director of Corporate Finance and Controller into the ERP driven monthly close and forecasting cadence, and to support M&A due diligence and post close accounting integration activities. The program emphasized consolidated financial and non financial KPI roll ups for Executive Team and investor communications, and established system oriented controls and reporting responsibilities across finance leads and corporate finance to standardize the preparation of consolidated and consolidating financial results using Oracle Cloud ERP.
