In 2012 Spotless Group implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 to support its business and IT platform transformation program, deploying the solution as the core ERP Financial backbone. The SAP ERP ECC 6.0 rollout covered SAP Finance, Procurement, Service Asset Management, Sales and Distribution, Portal, Process Integration, Reporting and Human Resources, aligning application capabilities with corporate finance, procurement, service operations and HR functions.
The implementation configured standard SAP modules to handle financial accounting and controlling processes, procure to pay workflows, service asset lifecycle management, and sales order and distribution operations, while Portal functionality provided a unified user access layer and Reporting consolidated operational and financial reporting. Process Integration was used to orchestrate data flows and transaction interfaces between the central ERP instance and adjacent operational systems, enabling synchronized master data and transactional exchanges across functional domains.
TCS provided Spotless with SAP focused implementation expertise, consulting and ongoing support for the SAP solution, acting as the delivery partner for configuration, cutover and post go live support. The deployment architecture emphasized a centralized SAP ERP ECC 6.0 instance augmented by SAP Portal and Process Integration components to support role based access, integration orchestration and consolidated reporting.
Program governance was organized around the business and IT platform transformation initiative, with cross functional ownership from Finance, Procurement, Service and HR to standardize processes and reporting under the SAP ERP ECC 6.0 implementation.
