In 2014, Spotless Group implemented Enghouse Interactive Communications Center. Spotless was already a customer of Enghouse Interactive but had not previously exploited the product's Lync capability, and the 2014 initiative extended Enghouse Interactive Communications Center as a Call Center solution to Lync-enabled agents within its customer service operations.
The deployment configured core contact center modules including multimedia queuing, intelligent routing, announcements, post-call wrapups, comprehensive reporting, and an intuitive agent desktop interface. Configuration work focused on queue profiles and routing rules for multimedia contacts, agent desktop provisioning, and report definition to align with standard contact center workflows.
Integration work enabled Enghouse Interactive Communications Center to interoperate with Microsoft Lync, bringing enterprise-quality contact center functionality to Lync users and tying presence-aware routing into agent workflows. Governance and rollout leveraged Spotless Group's existing Enghouse relationship to sequence enablement for Lync users, standardize wrap-up codes and reporting taxonomy, and operationalize the Call Center capabilities across its customer service and contact center functions.
