The deployment focused on the Lead to Cash workstream, engaging Global Process Owners, the global implementation team, local operations, and Global Business Services to align Sales Order, Invoice, and Shared Service Center workflows with the new ERP.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations was configured to cover Sales Order processing, invoicing, Accounts Receivable and collections workflows, credit management, cash application, customer master data, and sales categories and product structures. The implementation included structured data cleansing, migration, and validation activities for customer data, open AR invoices, and credit profiles, and required subject matter expertise in Accounts Receivable and L2C operational processes.
The program required the Lead to Cash Implementation Lead to drive system integrations in collaboration with the L2C business owner, coordinating integrations and migrations into Dynamics 365F&O while working with operational teams and shared service center teams. Azure DevOps and Office suite tools were applied for issue tracking, deployment coordination, and documentation, and end-user support included on-demand troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and escalation to IT or business management where necessary.
Governance emphasis centered on documenting processes, disseminating key milestones to stakeholders, and executing change management between current and future processes. The role delivered training materials, provided end-user training across operational facilities, and advised the business on optimal use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations functionality to support Accounts Receivable and Lead to Cash business functions within the ERP Financial category.
