Tanda Legacy Tanda Rostering and Attendance Time and Attendance HCM n/a 2017 2017
In 2017 Super Butcher implemented Tanda Rostering and Attendance as its Time and Attendance solution. The deployment targeted the retailer's six store footprint in southeast Queensland and supported the retail function that serves approximately 200 employees, with program oversight and accountability assigned to the Head of Retail. The implementation focused on cloud-based scheduling and rostering capabilities, time and attendance capture, and shift management practices. Configuration work emphasized store-level scheduling workflows and the introduction of shift leadership practices, while complementary store systems were developed for Scheduling, Training, Internal Communication, WH&S, Food Safety, Planned Maintenance and People Practices to align operational execution with the new rostering model. Operational coverage included store managers and retail operations across six sites in SE QLD, and the rollout was paired with a retail training program to develop store managers to Diploma level in Retail Management. Governance and process change included continual evolution of the operational manual, formal retail audit processes that measure Quality, Service, Environment and Value, and the embedding of people practices to standardize shift handover and roster compliance. Explicit outcomes recorded by the organization include reduced labour and increased efficiencies in completing scheduling within stores after Tanda Rostering and Attendance went live. The Head of Retail also scoped central processing of raw material to retail ready as a complementary business process change, intended to deliver a better customer experience through more consistent Quality, Service, Environment and Value.
