The solution processed vendor 850 purchase orders, generated 856 advance ship notices, and issued 810 invoices according to business rules, with assistance testing a new XML EDI integration to Microsoft Dynamics 365, and operational coordination with warehouse teams and third party logistics providers. Governance and operational change included maintaining the EDI database per trading partner, training an EDI coordinator on 850 856 and 810 procedures, and revising vendor routing and warehouse instructions to reduce compliance exceptions. These governance actions supported order management, shipping, and warehouse teams, and explicitly helped reduce the liability of chargebacks while enabling the organization to meet weekly and annual shipping goals.
