In 2010, Synacor implemented ADP Workforce Now 2.0 as its Core HR system. The HRIS manager led the deployment and configuration of ADP Workforce Now, establishing the platform as the primary HRIS for employee recordkeeping and benefits administration.
The implementation built employee, salary, job, and FLSA data into ADP Workforce Now and included configuration of the data model, role-based access controls, and reporting fields to support standard HR workflows. Processes were developed to maintain accurate records in the system, with the HRIS manager owning ongoing data governance and maintenance routines.
Benefits administration workstreams were executed by building all plans into ADP Workforce Now and by working directly with benefits providers to set up carrier connections for several complex plans. The team developed, implemented, and deployed Open Enrollment in ADP for the first year using paperless enrollments, aligning eligibility rules and carrier feeds within the system.
Operational coverage encompassed HR and benefits administration across Synacor’s employee population, with governance focused on enrollment management, eligibility maintenance, and compensation data controls. Workflow restructuring formalized change control for employee and pay-related data updates within ADP Workforce Now to ensure consistent recordkeeping and benefits processing.
