In 2011 Synlab Ghana implemented CGM SchuyLab as its Laboratory Management system across its Ghana network. CGM SchuyLab is used to run diagnostic and reference laboratory workflows and to support routine testing, COVID-19 and other diagnostic services in the region.
The deployment focuses on core LIS functions, explicitly including instrument interfacing, quality control, reporting and billing. CGM SchuyLab handles instrument data capture and QC rule enforcement, supports result validation workflows and generates electronic reports and billing records for clinical and administrative use.
Operational coverage spans Synlab Ghana diagnostic and reference laboratory sites, tying laboratory operations to clinical reporting and revenue capture. Governance emphasized standardized laboratory workflows and QC processes across sites, and the SchuyLab implementation directly supported ongoing COVID-19 testing capacity and diagnostic services during the pandemic.
