The program delivered an extensive array of integrations to internal and external systems, connecting Workday HCM and US Payroll to campus finance and identity services, time and labor feeds, and third-party benefits vendors and payroll tax services. Integrations emphasized data synchronization for employee records, payroll files and benefits enrollments, and included interfaces for batch and near-real-time exchange between Workday HCM and other campus systems.
Governance was formalized to support the new operational model, with centralized HR process ownership, change control for integrations and configuration, and staged rollout and training for HR, payroll and hiring managers.
