Commercial efforts ran in parallel to upgrade Order to Cash systems and migrate line of business applications to cloud.
Oracle Cloud ERP was integrated with the enterprise data platform built on MS Azure, feeding analytics through PowerBI and Azure Analytics Services, and linking financial data into Oracle EPM and Oracle HCM for planning and reconciliations. The broader technology stack included an IIoT ingestion framework delivering to OsiSoft Pi, identity and security controls such as Okta SSO, Imperva WAF, and BeyondTrust PAM, and automation via UiPath RPA to reduce manual financial tasks. Reporting and business intelligence workflows were routed to the Azure data lake to enable drill down and time series financial analyses.
Governance and rollout were driven by a five year technology and talent investment strategy that centralized ITAM and CMDB capabilities and accelerated adoption of Microsoft O365 collaboration tools. Change management aligned finance, HR, procurement, and corporate center processes to the new Oracle Cloud ERP configuration, while application development and operational support teams executed incremental releases. The ERP deployment was coordinated alongside operational digitization initiatives including migration of EH&S and field applications to cloud and consolidation of commercial systems.
Documented outcomes from the program include optimizing five year IT vendor spend by $9.8M, reducing Enterprise OpEx by $1.325M annually, automating 1.5 FTE of manual effort, and increasing revenue by $1.2M.
