The implementation configured Kofax ReadSoft Online to provide invoice capture, data extraction, validation and automated routing aligned with accounts payable workflows, integrating with Process Director Accounts Payable 7.4. Configuration work emphasized AP processing rules, document classification and exception handling, while maintaining SAP FI controls relevant to AP, AR, GL, TR and fixed assets for financial posting compliance.
Integrations were explicitly tied to SAP ECC6 and Process Director Accounts Payable 7.4, forming the transaction and posting backbone for automated invoice to payment lifecycles. Operational coverage spanned 79 group companies across North America TNA, Western Europe TWE, Eastern Europe TEE and Asia Oceania TAP, with functional impact concentrated on Procure to Pay and SAP FI-CO financial support processes.
Governance and runbook responsibilities were structured around a six person FI-CO team providing Level 3 support, third party application maintenance and phased change management. Microsoft Power BI was integrated with SAP for extraction of financial and sales master and transactional data, enabling consolidated reporting and improvement of management tools. Operational coverage included the Finance function, Junior Financial Controllers, and network collaborators who used Power BI outputs to validate invoices, validate RFA entries, and respond to ad hoc reporting requests from the sales network.
