In 2024, Teradyne implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its core ERP Financial application to centralize finance workloads across the global Finance organization. Oracle E-Business Suite ERP Financial is positioned to support accounting systems and month-end close processes for Teradyne, aligning the application with the Accounting Systems group within Finance based in Cebu and Costa Rica and with Corporate and Division Finance teams globally.
The implementation focuses on financial subsystems and general ledger functions, including calendar management, chart of accounts updates, subsystem monthly closes, and report generation. Teradyne is using Oracle Financial System Generator FSG for financial reporting and maintains Monarch model support for reporting workflows, while the Accounting Systems group handles configuration, testing, and validation of enhancement requests and system maintenance.
Operational coverage includes support for global finance users, escalated business process support, access provisioning to GL subsystems and reports, and user training delivered as needed from the Cebu/Costa Rica finance systems team. The program explicitly encompasses the integration of newly acquired companies into Oracle E-Business Suite and other financial software, with coordination between Corporate Finance, Division Finance, and IT for system onboarding and data alignment.
Governance and process changes center on structured business process documentation, enhancement intake and prioritization, end-to-end testing and validation, and defined responsibilities for month-end subsystem closes and system maintenance. The Accounting Systems group provides ongoing support for access provisioning and finance distribution lists, and participates in process improvement and testing to stabilize Oracle E-Business Suite as the ERP Financial backbone for Teradyne Finance.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP SuccessFactors Compensation | Compensation Management | HCM | n/a | 2024 | 2024 |
In 2024, Teradyne implemented SAP SuccessFactors Compensation to strengthen Compensation Management across its global HR operations. The effort is anchored in the HR technology organization reporting to the CHRO, with the Head of HR Technology & HR Operations accountable for managing HR technology and analytics, the HR Service Center, and a PMO capability that supports Teradyne's Semiconductor Test and Robotics businesses.
The SAP SuccessFactors Compensation implementation is configured to align compensation planning workflows with core SuccessFactors modules identified by the HR organization, including Employee Central and Performance & Goals. Configuration work emphasizes compensation planning rules, eligibility and award workflows, security role provisioning, and integration of performance ratings into pay decisions, reflecting standard Compensation Management functional patterns and reporting requirements.
Integrations are being coordinated with vendor support and IT to maintain end to end data flows between SAP SuccessFactors Compensation and the broader HR application landscape, with explicit linkage to Employee Central and downstream reporting in PowerBI, along with input and survey tools such as Qualtrics and SurveyMonkey and incident tracking via Jira. Operational coverage is global and managed by a distributed HR team with a hybrid presence in North Reading Massachusetts, focused on annual HR processes including performance management, compensation planning, and benefits open enrollment.
Governance and process change are central to the rollout, with the PMO driving requirements gathering, testing, change management and communications. The program is defining data governance, regular audit procedures to ensure data integrity and SOX compliance, documentation standards, and a service model for ongoing change requests. The HR organization is also evolving an AI in HR strategy to evaluate routine HR workflows and surface automation opportunities that interface with SAP SuccessFactors Compensation.

| SYSPRO | Legacy | Syspro Manufacturing ERP | Manufacturing ERP | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2014 | 2014 |
In 2014, Teradyne implemented Syspro Manufacturing ERP. Syspro Manufacturing ERP, categorized as Manufacturing ERP, was configured as a SOX controlled enterprise application to support Financial and Accounting, Supply Chain, Marketing and Sales business functions across divisions within the organization.
The implementation included functional configuration and customizations of core manufacturing modules, including Inventory, Purchase Order, Work in Progress process, BOM costing reports and Cost Rollup activities. The team prepared and executed test cases, validated migrated and configured data, and created SQL scripts for Business Objects reports and database job alerts to support ongoing monitoring and reporting.
A series of explicit integrations were implemented between Syspro Manufacturing ERP and other systems, including an automated quoting interface between Syspro and IBM Lotus Notes using Informatica, an EPC release update integration with Agile PLM for part ECC updates, and a supply chain planning interface to Kinaxis RapidResponse to enable multi tier demand and supply visibility. A DDX ERP document management integration was deployed to manage Sales Orders, Purchase Orders and Invoices within the ERP, and interfaces were developed, tested and promoted into Development and Production environments.
Operational coverage included Production, Development and Disaster Recovery environments, with application level monitoring, log analysis, performance tuning and admin level support for jobs and user groups. Governance work encompassed implementing and executing SOX principles at the application and server security level, coordinating with Windows, DBA and Network teams for performance and platform stability, and serving as SOX tester and reviewer with the PwC audit team. A planned migration of Microsoft application and database servers from Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2008 was executed between January 2014 and March 2014, with application and integration testing coordinated with key business users.
Deliverables explicitly documented include a developed and tested disaster recovery environment for the ERP application, successfully implemented interface modules promoted to production, and updated server platforms to address end of life support for Windows Server 2003.
